Sherie Theriault
C0-Owner & Founder

Sherie Theriault is the co-owner and founder of New England Food Business Advisors. She is an entrepreneur with over 25 years experience as a small business owner, director, consultant and coach. Having owned and operated her own CPG company, catering company and consulting firms, she has first hand knowledge of what it means to be a business owner and what it takes to build and manage a successful team. ​Over the years she has helped a wide range of businesses across the United States and Canada with everything from creating and implementing marketing and sales strategies to overhauling operational procedures. As a former social worker, her passion lies in helping entrepreneurs achieve their dreams and reach their full potential.

Nick Schonberger
Co-Owner & Founder

Nick Schonberger is the co-owner and founder of New England Food Business Advisors. Nick brings over 15 years of professional experience supporting small business owners through his work with non-profit food incubators and municipalities. He has guided businesses to gain access to food safety, business, and educational resources that support their business growth. Nick has worked for the City of Somerville, MA; first supporting immigrant culinary entrepreneurs to start food businesses as part of the Nibble Culinary Entrepreneurship Program, and then as an Economic Development Planner supporting business, real estate, and workforce development initiatives. Prior to launching New England Food Business Advisors, Nick was the Senior Program Manager for Commonwealth Kitchen where he built educational programming for women and BIPOC owned businesses. Having worked in kitchens as a baker, line cook, and fishmonger, Nick brings first hand experience in food service and the knowledge of the regulatory environment to overcome your permitting pains.

Sean Horrigan
Marketing and PR

With more than twenty years of public relations and brand building experience, Sean Horrigan has directed product launches, PR, and event marketing, for clients ranging from start-ups to internationally recognized organizations.

 

Sean’s skills include content creation, social media strategy, branding, strategic partnerships, and thought-leadership. He has worked with such clients as Showtime Networks, ESPN, Wheaton College, HRC, and Commonwealth Shakespeare Company. Sean holds a Masters in Marketing Communications from Emerson College and is a regular speaker, guest blogger, and webinar host.
